Janine M. Sobolewski

Janine Marie (DeGumbia) Sobolewski, 47, of Southington, passed away surrounded by her family, at MidState Medical Center, on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Janine was born on May 25, 1975 in Meriden. She dedicated most of her life to raising her 2 daughters and worked as a bartender at the Falcon’s Club where she always put a smile on everyone’s faces. Janine enjoyed spending her free time camping at Lone Oaks. She was a loving wife, proud mother and grandmother and wonderful friend to many. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her husband Kevin Sobolewski, Janine is survived by her 2 daughters, Breanna Matthews and husband Tyler and Brooke Sobolewski and one cherished granddaughter Riley, who was her pride and joy. She is also survived by her mother Mary DeGumbia, 2 brothers, Vinny and Jason DeGumbia, as well as several nieces and nephews. Janine was predeceased by her best friend, Shelly Hatheway.
