Jacqueline D. McKenney

Jacqueline D. (Syrotchen) McKenney, 59, formerly of Naugatuck, died on April 19, 2012 at her home in Bartow, FL. She had been the loving wife of the late Wilfred McKenney Jr. for 32 years.

Born in Waterbury on April 23, 1953 to the late Helen (St. Louis) Syrotchen and Michael S. Syrotchen Sr., she had been a longtime Naugatuck resident. Jacqueline worked as a waitress for many years and most recently worked at Macy's in FL.

She is survived by 5 sons: Wilfred McKenney III and wife Doryann of VT; Dwight McKenney and his wife Stacey of CT; Robert McKenney and his wife Loretta of VT; Dean McKenney and his wife Sandra and Dana McKenney and his fiancé© Cheryl, all of CT; 2 daughters: Carol Parks and her husband Stephen of VT and Jacqueline Froliger and her husband Eric of CT; 5 sisters: Cheryl Walker, Sarah Frankenfield, Jamie Syrotchen, Helen Hurbon and Jean Busha and 2 brothers: Steven Syrotchen and Michael Syrotchen; 22 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was predeceased by one grandson, Harley McKenney.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday April 27, 2012 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Southington.
