Ida Witkovic

Ida Witkovic, 86, of Southington passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, December 29, 2009. She was the wife of the late John Witkovic.

She was born on June 25,1923 in New Britain to the late Edwin R. and Clara M.(Abbe) Coons. Ida worked as a kick press operator for Peck Spring Co. for 60 years. She loved to go to tag sales.

She is survived by two grand children Matt Witkovic of Plainville Ct. and Sarah Witkovic of Bristol Ct .,nephew Edwin Seneschal and his wife Doreen of Southington, her best friend Helen Peck and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Richard Witkovic ,two brothers George and Edwin Coons and a sister Ellen Seneschal.

There will be no calling hours burial will be private. Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville is handling the arrangements.
