Helene S. Thomas

Helene S. (Hlavka) Thomas, 79, formerly of Southington died peacefully after a long illness on Sunday Sept. 2, 2012 at Touchpoints at Farmington. She had been the wife of the late Robert E. Thomas for 56 years.

Helene was born in Southington on May 24, 1933 to the late John and Josephine (Dzurana) Hlavka.

She is survived by her 5 children: Robert Thomas of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; David Thomas of Southington; Mark (Michele) Thomas of Farmington; Kimberly (Bruce) Abate of Cheshire and Erik (Colleen) Thomas of Meriden; 6 grandchildren, one surviving sister and many nieces and nephews.
