Helen A. (Jankowski) Marshall, 94, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Autumn Lake in New Britain. She had been the loving wife of the late Robert V. Marshall for 57 years.

Born on August 28, 1926 in Plantsville to the late Anthony and Rose (Dawidzionek) Jankowski, she had been a lifelong Southington resident.

Helen worked at the deli in Shop-Rite for over 20 years. After her retirement she enjoyed her time with the seniors at the Aqua Turf Club setting tables. Helen was a lifelong member at the Immaculate Conception Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Immaculata Women’s Club and the Holy Rosary Society. She enjoyed bowling, golfing with the Lady Falcons, traveling the United States and polka dancing with Bob. Most of all, Helen loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She was the life of the party and will be remembered for her bright smile and infectious laugh.

She is survived by her three loving daughters: Kathleen Marshall Carroll and her husband Rob of Farmington; Nancy Marshall of Bristol; Lynn Marshall Leone and her husband Joseph of Southington; her 4 adoring grandchildren; Kaylee Drab and Shane, Conner and Brendan Leone. She is also survived by her sister, Edna Savage of Plantsville and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters, Josephine, Veronica, Carrie and Mary.

Helen’s family would like to thank the staff at both Mulberry Gardens and Autumn Lake for their kindness, compassion and the excellent care they provided to her during her stay with them.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday February 11, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St, Plantsville. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held before the service from 9 – 10:00 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St, Plantsville.
