Gary S. Turci

Gary S. Turci, 67, of Cheshire, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Gary was born on October 15, 1954 in Southington, one of 7, to the late Henry and Agnes (Zakrewski) Turci and had been a longtime Cheshire resident.

He graduated from UCONN and worked in retail construction project management for many years. Gary was a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved Sunday morning rides on his Harley along with his son and feeling the wind in his face. He was a devoted member of the Southington Sportsmen's Association where he served on the executive board for many years. He enjoyed yearly summer lake vacations relaxing with his family in Maine. Gary was happiest being surrounded by his family, and beloved dogs. He was incredibly proud of the accomplishments of his 3 children and was looking forward to becoming a grandfather.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Lori (Marcus) Turci and their 3 children: Joshua Turci and wife Holly of Southington; Sarah Turci-Ryan and husband Michael of Cromwell and Hannah Turci and fiancée Peter Romano. He is also survived by 6 siblings, Susan Turci and partner Gertrude Cowan of Boston, MA; Maureen Turci and husband Joseph Kleineman of Fort Lee, NJ; David Turci and wife Susan of Plantsville; Carol Langston and husband Keith of Southington; Thomas Turci and wife Christine of Plantsville; Patricia Coviello and husband John of Plantsville and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 95 Flanders St, Southington.
