Frances (Burdacki) Tomczuk, 85, of Parkview Drive in Plantsville, passed away at her home on Thursday August 4, 2011. She was the loving wife of the late Walter Tomczuk for nearly 50 years.
Born in Meriden on April 22, 1926 to the late John and Mary Burdacki, she had been a Plantsville resident for 57 years.
Frances leaves behind her son Bruce Tomczuk and wife Barbara of Collegeville, Pa; her daughter Judy Dabkowski and husband Greg of South Deerfield, Mass; and 4 grandchildren: Kenneth Dabkowski of Charlottesville, VA, Bryan Tomczuk of Manhattan, NY, Jeffrey Dabkowski of South Deerfield, Mass., and Susan Tomczuk of Alexandria, VA.
Frances was a loyal parishioner of Mary Our Queen Church and she loved her grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Tuesday August 9, 2011 at Mary Our Queen Church, 249 Savage St., Southington. Calling hours will be held prior to the Funeral Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
