Estella DeBisschop Taylor

Estella DeBisschop Taylor, 97, formerly of Southington, passed away on October 15, 2011 at Masonicare in Wallingford, CT. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard Taylor and the mother of one daughter and one son, Nancy Pasco and her husband David of Southington and Thomas Taylor and his wife Michele of Guilford. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Todd Pasco, Matthew and Ryan Taylor, and seven great-grandchildren.

Born August 20, 1914, in Cheshire, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Elodie (Berkmoes) DeBisschop and had lived in Southington for most of her life. Estella was a member of the Plantsville Congregational Church where she was a long-time choir member and a past member of the Board of Deacons.

Calling hours will on Monday, October 24, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Plantsville Congregational Church, 109 Church St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in Quinnipiac Cemetery, Marion Ave., Plantsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Estella, to the Plantsville Congregational Church Music Fund, 109 Church St., Plantsville, CT 06479.
