Eric S. Perry, 72, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. He was the loving husband of Debbie (Martin) Perry for 33 years.

Eric was born on June 8, 1950 in Island Falls, ME to the late Nathan and Geneva (Wellington) Perry.

Eric proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Southington Highway Department for many years and retired from the Southington Parks and Recreation Dept. in 2012. Eric enjoyed watching sports, especially the New York Yankees, New York Giants and UCONN Huskies.

 In addition to his wife Debbie, Eric is survived by 5 siblings; Trenner Perry (Linda) of Meriden, Duska Kupec (Kevin) of Bristol, Jace Perry (Mary Glynn) of Plainville, Nathan “Bo” Perry (Karen) of Plainville and Anna Jordan (Jeff) of Plantsville. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Rick Martin (Jane) of TX, sister-in-law, Anita Santa Maria of Plantsville, his beloved cat, Ziva Sue and many nieces, nephews and one great-niece. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased his sister, Theda Scheidel.
