Elizabeth "Betty" S. Reinhard, 83, of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Mulberry Gardens. She had been the loving wife of Edward C. Reinhard Sr. for 63 years.
Born on November 1, 1931 in Bristol, to the late Angelo and Florence (Holt) Spinelli, she had been a longtime Southington resident.
Betty was a longtime member of the Plantsville Congregational Church where she worked as a nursery school teacher for many years and was active in the Evening Guild. She loved sewing, knitting and quilting.
In addition to her husband Ed, Betty is survived by 5 children: son Ed Reinhard Jr. and his wife Kathy of Southington; daughter Diane Klecha and her husband JB of Nokomis, FL; son Rich Reinhard and his wife Fran of Wolcott; son Larry Reinhard and his wife Ginny of Bellevue, NE; daughter Donna Cardinale and her husband Dean of Plainville; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters; Lorraine Pulnik and her husband Edward of Southbury and Angela Theriault and her husband Norbert of Venice, FL; her brother, Lewis Spinelli and Pat of FL and her sister-in-law, Louise Loucks of Southington.
