Elizabeth Duffy Lowy

Elizabeth Duffy Lowy, 55, of Plantsville, died suddenly on December 26, 2020. She was the daughter of Anne Coyle Duffy and the late James Duffy.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Beth spent her childhood in Cheshire, graduating from Cheshire High School. She attended Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland and Southern Connecticut State University. Most recently, she was employed as a Purchasing Agent with Miller Foods in Avon, CT.

Beth had a lifelong love of reading and enjoyed watching movies and taking motorcycle rides through New England with her companion, Philip LaBonte.

Beth is survived by her mother Anne of Plantsville, as well as her children Jacob (Kendra), Hannah and Sarah Rose, all of whom reside in Montana. Her sisters Sarah (Ralph) Edwards of Greenport, NY and Meg (Ralph) Perillo of Bristol, CT also survive her.

A memorial service in Beth’s honor will be planned for a later date. Contributions in her memory can be made to Friends of the Library, Southington Library, 255 Main Street, Southington, CT 06489.
