Douglas L. Cleveland

Douglas L. Cleveland, 68, of Southington passed away on Sunday January 1, 2012 at the Westfield Care and Rehabilitation Center in Meriden. He had been the loving husband of Maryann (Studzinski) Cleveland for nearly 34 years.

Douglas was the youngest of 16 children, born on September 1, 1943 in Morrisville, VT to the late Pearley and Mabel (Manning) Cleveland. In addition to his wife Maryann, he is survived by one brother Keith Cleveland and his wife Helena of FL and one sister Dorothy Ercolani and her husband Joseph of Southington, his special niece Heidi Schneider and many nieces and nephews.

Douglas worked at the International Silver Company and then at AGC before retiring in the early 80's. He loved his dog Murphy.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30pm on Thursday January 5, 2012 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
