Dorothy M. Dekutowski

Dorothy (Maksimczyk) Dekutowski, 84, of Southington passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday March 15, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. She had been the loving wife of the late Edmund J. Dekutowski for 45 years.

Born in June 8, 1929 in Hartford, to the late Joseph and Serafina (Brummer) Maksimczyk, she had been a longtime Southington resident.

She is survived by her three daughters: Janine Falco and her fiancé© Douglas Haley of Plantsville; Kathleen Cook and her husband Kevin of Westbrook and Laura Madden and her husband Bill of Charlestown, RI; one son John Dekutowski and his wife Sarah of Georgia; her brother Joseph Maksimczyk of Plainville and four grandchildren: Leanne, Andrew, Danielle and Nicholas, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday March 21, 2014 at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., Southington. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
