Donald L. Smith

Donald L. Smith, 74, of Southington, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2015 at MidState Medical Center.

Born January 2, 1941 in Easton, ME to the late Walter and Ella (McDougall) Smith, he had been a longtime Southington resident.

Donald worked as a School Bus Aide at New Britain Transportation for many years.

He leaves his longtime companion Maxine McElroy, a brother Roy Smith, daughter-in-law Andrea Smith, 2 grandchildren: Tyler Blanchette and his fiancé© Amanda Boudreau and Shawna Smith, 2 great-grandchildren, Hunter and Gavin Blanchette, his nephew Larry Levasseur, and two nieces, Nanette Williams and Tammy Mancino, a great-niece and great-nephew, Cody and Amber Albee and 3 step-children: Lisa Burke, Dallas Burke, and Manda Fritz and many relatives in Canada. He was predeceased by his son Scott D. Smith.
