Donald A. Luedke

Donald A. Luedke, 87, of Southington passed away peacefully on Sunday September 9, 2012 at the Summit at Plantsville. He had been the loving husband of Helen Lucille (Kendrick) Luedke for 65 years.

Born June 4, 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Erwin Luedke and Marie (Erdman) Harness, he had been a longtime Southington resident.

Donald served his country in the U. S. Army Air Force during WWII as a Radio Operator. He worked at Kaiser Aluminum in Milwaukee, WI, and Philadelphia and Erie, PA. He then worked as the Vice President for Consolidated Industries in Cheshire and retired after 21 years of service.

In addition to his wife Helen, he is survived by his son Tom Luedke and wife Joyce of Plantsville. He was predeceased by his son Donald A. Luedke II.
