Donald W. Butterfield

Donald W. Butterfield, 50, formerly of Southington passed away at his home on Thursday January 5, 2012. He had been the loving father of Sean Butterfield and Heather Butterfield, both of Plainville.

Donald was born in Southington on August 13, 1961 to Dalbert Butterfield, Jr. and the late Marilyn (Minihan) Butterfield. He worked at CL&P for many years and was an avid NASCAR fan.

In addition to his children and his father, Donald is survived by his brother Dalbert Butterfield III and his wife Suzan of Southington and his sister Sheryl Minahan and her husband David of Southington.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday January 10, 2012 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville, CT. Burial will follow in Quinnipiac Cemetery, Southington.
