Dolores L. Longo

Dolores L. (Cannon) Longo, 88, of Southington, CT passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, November 27, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Peter W. Longo for over 70 years.

Dolores was born on March 8, 1935 in Salem, South Carolina, oldest of 10 children, to the late Oldrige and Amanda (Nabors) Cannon. 

Dolores grew up in South Carolina and moved to Connecticut in 1954. She worked as a hairdresser for 50 years.

In addition to her husband Peter, Dolores is survived by 4 children: Rita Longo (Berta) of NY, Peter L. Longo (Wanda), Michael Longo and Patricia Potter (John), all of Southington, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Martha “Marti” Gravely (Roger) of SC and many nieces and nephews.
