Diane L. Gajewski

Diane L. (Ballard) Gajewski, 64, of Cheshire passed away after a short battle with cancer on Friday October 18, 2013 at Mid-State Medical Center. She had been the loving wife of the late Donald P. Gajewski for 28 years.

Born June 14, 1949 in Middletown to the late Harold and Shirley (Eick) Ballard, she had been a longtime Cheshire resident. Diane worked at Mid-State Medical Center for over 18 years.

She is survived by her 2 children, Scott Gajewski of Cheshire and Kathy Hackney of Queens, NY and 4 grandchildren: Brittney, Katelynn, Devin and Gabriel and 2 great-grandchildren: Haylee and Isabella. She also leaves behind her brother Hal Ballard and his wife Janis of Plantsville, her sister Patti Faust and her husband Ronald of Plantsville, her sister-in-law Joan Alia of Meriden and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Linda Brandt.
