Diana L. Gordon

Diana (Levesque) Gordon, 80, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at VITAS at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury.

Diana was born on April 27, 1942, in Southington to the late Melchoir and Anita (Michaud) Levesque. She worked at Webster Bank and retired after many years of service. Diana was a talented sewer, knitter and crocheter and made many items, even clothes for her family. Diana loved Garfield and had a huge collection that she accumulated over the years.

Diana is survived by her husband Nicholas DeRosa, of Oxford and formerly of Waterbury, and 2 children: son, Douglas Gordon and his wife Cheryl of Oakville and Nancy Gordon and Vincent Galanti of Waterbury, 6 grandchildren, including her longtime caregiver and goddaughter, Carissa, as well as Matthew, Andrew, Amanda, Steven Jr. and Michael and 3 great-grandchildren, Omar, Nathaniel and Jackson. She is also survived by her brother, Richard “Dicky” Levesque and his wife Rhonda of DE, her sister, Gloria Haman of Southington and many nieces and nephews. Diana was predeceased by her first husband, Leonard Gordon, her son, Steven Gordon and brother, Michael Levesque.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 27, 2023 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
