David P. Surveski

David P. Surveski, 54, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford, after a long illness.

Born on December 29, 1960 in Bristol to Edward P. and Pauline (Plawecki) Surveski, he had been a longtime Southington resident.

David was a Southington High School graduate, class of 1978 and earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Florida. He worked in both the insurance industry and in environmental engineering. David was always active. He loved fishing and frisbee golf. He was an avid Red Sox and Giants fan but had a soft spot for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In addition to his parents, David is survived by his two brothers; Peter Surveski and his wife Elaine and Thomas Surveski and his wife Linda, all of Harwinton and 4 nieces and nephews: Ryan, Amber, Amanda and Ethan.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 15, 2015 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
