David Richard Hentz

David Richard Hentz, age 49, of Meriden passed away on Tues. November 10, 2009 at his home. He was the loving husband of his high school sweetheart, Susan (Henkel) Hentz. David was born on January 15, 1960 in Meriden CT to Barbara (Gavette) Hentz and the late Richard M. Hentz. He graduated from Southington High School, class of 1978. David loved flying kites and camping and was a member of Connectikiters Kite Club. He spent many wonderful vacations on the cape with his wife. Dave worked with wood and was a perfectionist at everything he built. His dog Coty was always at his side. Besides his wife Susan and his mother Barbara of Plantsville he leaves two sisters, Cynthia Sima and her husband Raymond of Cheshire, Lori Bolduc and her husband Robert of Bristol; four nieces, Marcie Anderson , Allison Sima and Christy and Kelly Bolduc; one great nephew, Connor Anderson. He also leaves his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Werner and Beverly Henkel and his sister-in-law Helen Henkel all of Southington and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday Nov. 13, 2009 at 11:a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Thursday Nov.12, 2009 (TODAY) from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of David may be made to the Meriden Human Society, 311 Murdock Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.

Funeral services will be held Friday Nov. 13, 2009 at 11:a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Thursday Nov.12, 2009 (TODAY) from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
