Czeslawa Miesak

Czeslawa Jesse Maria (Klocek) Miesak, 84, of Southington died Tuesday August 9, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Jozef Miesak.

Born July 14, 1927 in Poland to the late Jozef and Ewa (Kotlzaz) Klocek she had been a Southington resident since 1957.

Jesse and her family came to the United States on Christmas Day in 1951 aboard the American Refugee Ship the USS General W.C. Langfitt. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Southington where she was a member and past president for fourteen years of the Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Immaculata Women's Club, the PNA 684 of Southington and the Calendar House. Jesse worked for many years as a health aide for the Southington VNA.

She is survived by five daughters: Krystyna Smith of New Mexico, Aleksandra Rohde of Maryland, Izabella Mooney of Mass., Anita Schneider of Hartford and Barbara More of Madison; two sons, Edward Miesak of Florida and Henryk Miesak of Southington; one brother, Bolek Klocek and one sister, Janina Chrin , both of Poland; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday August 13, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Plantsville, CT. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours are prior to the funeral on Saturday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
