Christopher J. Boyles Jr, 40, formerly of Southington, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, FL.

Chris was born on Feb 16, 1980 in New Britain CT. He was a Southington High School graduate, Class of 1998 and moved to Sarasota, FL in 2015 where he worked as a certified HVAC technician.

Chris is survived by his loving mother, Brenda Fischer and stepfather Christopher Fischer of Port Orange, FL and his father Christopher Boyles of MA. He is also survived by his uncle Daren Mauro and Mark Reilly, his uncle and godfather, Mark Mauro, his aunt Eleanor Burdette, all of Southington, his uncle Kerry Smith and aunt Holly Smith of Thomaston and several cousins and friends. Chris was predeceased by his beloved grandparents, Domenic “Rocky” Mauro and Roberta Mauro.

In lieu of flowers, to honor Chris’ love for animals, donations in his memory may be made to Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave. Meriden, CT 06450.

Walk-thru calling hours will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St, Plantsville. Face coverings and social distancing is required at all times. Chris will be buried with his grandparents in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington at a private family service.
