Charles Brown

Charles Brown, 78, of Southington, passed away Thursday June 24, 2010 at HCC at Bradley Memorial. He was the loving husband of the late Marilyn (McKay) Brown.

Charles was born in St. Albans, VT on December 6, 1931 to the late Harold and Elizabeth (Devarney) Brown. He lived in Southington for most of his life and worked as a custodian for Thalberg Elementary School for many years. He was also a Veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by two sons and their wives Joseph and Kathy Brown of Plainville and Steven and Elizabeth (Fazzino) Brown of North Granby, a daughter Donna and her husband Garry Thibodeau of Plainville, one sister Shirley Baker, two brothers;George Brown and Robert Brown, and six grandchildren; Steven Jr., Jason, Sarah, Matthew, Jonathan and Michele. He was predeceased by his son John Brown and one brother James Brown.

FUNERAL SERVICES

A funeral service was held on Monday June 28, 2010 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Saint Albans Vermont. Plantsville Funeral Home assisted the family with the funeral arrangements. Donations in Mr. Brown's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. An online condolence book and photo album has
