Carole A. Lackovich

Carole A. (Fink) Lackovich, 76, of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully at HOCC in New Britain on Sunday, April 21, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Charles J. Lackovich for 58 years.

Carole was born on October 11, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Raymond and Alice (Fischer) Kimmel. She lived in Pennsylvania for many years before moving to Connecticut where she resided in Southington for the last 30 years. Carole was a longtime parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church in Plantsville. She had a range of jobs over the years, from waitress to crossing guard to medical office administrator to healthcare headhunter. Carole also enjoyed spending time at home with her husband, children and grandchildren who were the center of her life.

In addition to her husband, Chuck, Carole is survived by three sons and one daughter; Michael Lackovich of IL, Gary Lackovich of NJ, Anthony Lackovich of CT and Laurie Lackovich Meyers of PA, four grandchildren: Cathryn, Jonathan and Allison Lackovich and Alexis Meyers, one great-grandson, Jaden, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Carole was predeceased by two brothers, Daniel and Louis Fink.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carole's memory may be made to any charity that supports veterans.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.   Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9 - 11:00 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home.
