Beverly A. Parizo

Beverly A. (Singer) Parizo, 89, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at the Summit at Plantsville. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. Parizo for 69 years.

Beverly was born on January 20, 1934 in Yalesville, CT to the late William Sr. and Marguerite (Scott) Singer.

Beverly graduated from Lyman Hall High School, Class of 1952. She loved flowers and gardening and was a former member of the Women’s Gardening Club of Southington. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed literature. Beverly was a talented artist and created beautiful paintings. She was also a gifted classical pianist. Beverly was strong in her faith, having been a long-time parishioner of Mary Our Queen Church.

In addition to her husband Bob, Beverly is survived by her son, Clifford Parizo and wife Sheila of Derby, daughter, Melanie J. Paradis and husband Paul of FL, daughter-in-law, Dawn Parizo of Burlington, 6 grandchildren: Justin, Kristen, Jessica, Haley, Robert and Michelle and 6 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by 2 sisters, Marjorie Miller of AZ and Florence Montefiore and husband William of Meriden, a sister-in-law, Kathy Singer of Wallingford, Robert’s twin brother, Richard E. Parizo of Chester and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Mitchell J. Parizo and 3 brothers, William Jr., Robert and James Singer.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St. Southington. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
