Beatrice L. Sonstrom

Beatrice L. Sonstrom, of Southington, wife of the late Arthur W. Sonstrom, passed away on October 22, 2011.

She was born in Bridgeport, CT, on April 20, 1919, the daughter of the late Albert Rentz and Augusta (Schipul) Rentz. She graduated from high school in Bridgeport, and was a lifelong resident of Connecticut.

A homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, stenciling, and reading. She was a lifelong Lutheran.

She leaves her son William A. Sonstrom and his wife Susan; her daughters Virginia Sonstrom and Janice Sonstrom; grandchildren Rebecca Muldoon, Benjamin Sonstrom, and Patrick Welch; and great-grandchildren Nicholas and Matthew Sonstrom and Aidan and Jake Muldoon.

Beatrice will be buried next to her husband at South End Cemetery in Southington, CT. Per Bea's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held.
