Barbara D. Anderson

Barbara (Deming) Anderson, 92, of Cumberland, RI and formerly of Southington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Mt. St. Rita Health Centre in RI. She had been the wife of the late Ralph L. Anderson.

Barbara was born on December 6, 1929 in Winsted, CT to the late Allen and Erna (Deckert) Deming. She worked as a crib attendant at Pratt & Whitney before her retirement.

Barbara enjoyed reading, traveling, and being with her family. She will be remembered for her loyalty to her family and friends.

Barbara is survived by 4 children; Lynne Ramos and her husband Dante of Cumberland, RI, Judy Wolinski and her husband Michael of Bothell, WA, Karen Ring and her husband Joseph of Marshfield, MA and Allen Anderson and his wife Lenore of Haddam, CT. Also by grandchildren, Kimberly Ramos, Dante Ramos Jr, Amanda Wolinski Baker, and Patrick Ring. She leaves 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Faye Deming, a niece and nephew.

In addition to her husband Ralph, Barbara was predeceased by brother Lynn Allen Deming Sr. and his son, Lynn Allen Deming Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St, Plantsville. Burial will follow in South End Cemetery, Southington.
