Anna F. Repan, 91, of Summit St., Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 3, 2010 at Southington Care Center, Southington. She was the loving wife of Ludvik Repan for 70 years. She was born in Krasnany, Czechoslovakia on July 29, 1919 to the late Alojzy and Maria Franek. Anna lived in New York City and moved to Southington, CT in 1952. She was employed by Allied Control and Five Star of Plantsville. She was also a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas Church.
Anna will always be remembered for her kind heart, warm personality, and giving generously of her time and her love. Anna was known for her cooking and baking talents. Her friends and family were recipients of her kolachies, cheesecakes, and apricot turnovers.
Besides her husband Ludvik, she is survived by her 4 daughters: Caroline Savage, Anna Mongillo, Ellen Plonka, and Margaret DellaBitta and her companion John Dubis; 7 grandchildren: Tyler Savage, Kimberley Limbacher and her husband Philip, Dominic Mongillo and his wife Marney, Michael DellaBitta and his wife Kathryn, David DellaBitta and his wife Caitlin, Christine Hoffmann and her husband Chris, and Richard Plonka. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Dominick Mongillo.
Calling hours will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St. Plantsville on Wednesday October 6, 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Southington. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
