Anna L. Arszyla

Anna L. Arszyla of Southington died July 21, 2012 at the Southington Care Center. She was 94.

Born August 23, 1917 in New Britain, CT to the late Francis and Albina (Kraszewski) Arszyla, she had been a lifelong Southington resident. Before her retirement, Anna worked as an executive secretary at G.E. in Plainville.

She is survived by her sister H. Monica Carroll of Saratoga, CA.; nieces: Donna Boga, Mary Ann Bonczek & Joan Lavornga; nephews: Kaszmer Arszyla, Jeff Boga, Ed Carroll & John Homnack, grandniece Kimberly Robinson and grandnephews:

CJ Bonczek & Jason Lavornga; and one great-grandniece Geneveve Robinson.

She was pre-deceased by her sisters: Mary Arszyla, Martha Boga, & Elizabeth Homnack and her brothers, Dominic Arszyla & Kaszmer Arszyla.

Funeral services will be held Wed. July 25, 2012 at 9 a.m. from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours are Tues. July 24th from 4-8 p.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home.
