Ann McNamara

Ann (Nalezny) McNamara, 93, formerly of Southington passed away on June 18, 2013 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was the loving wife of the late Gerald E. McNamara for 59 years.

Ann was born in Southington on July 27, 1919. She had been a lifelong Southington resident before moving to Albuquerque, NM in 2005.

Mrs. McNamara was an avid gardener. She was a woman of great faith and loved her family unconditionally.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Marianne McNamara of Orlando, FL.; her daughter and son-in-law Geraldine and Jerry Jones of Albuquerque, NM as well as two grandsons, Brian and Brent Jones. She is also survived by her brother Walter Pernal and his wife Janette of Southington and her sister Rosie Guliano and her husband Mike of Meriden. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald E. McNamara.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday June 24, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Southington. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held Monday from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
