Ann R. Giancarli

Ann R. (Silkauskas) Giancarli, 89, of Southington passed away peacefully after a long illness on Saturday August 24, 2013 at the Summit of Plantsville.

Born August 14, 1924 in Waterbury to the late Boleslovas and Agota (Yuskartis) Silkauskas, she had been a longtime Southington resident.

Ann retired in 1986 after many of years of service at Peter Paul in Naugatuck.

She is survived by 5 children: Gene Giancarli of Prospect; Dennis Giancarli of Las Vegas, NV; Arlene Vaughan of Southington; Allen Giancarli of Prospect and Pamela Sears of Las Vegas, NV; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Betty Alonso and her brother John Silkauskas.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 28, 2013 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury.
