Aneila "Nell" (Aszklar) Mikulak

Aneila "Nell" (Aszklar) Mikulak, 89, of Southington passed away peacefully on Thursday January 22, 2015 at The Pines in Bristol with her family by her side. She had been the loving wife of Joseph C. Mikulak for 68 years.

Born in Plantsville on April 1, 1925 to the late John and Mary (Golomka) Aszklar, she had been a lifelong Southington resident.

Nell was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Immaculata's Women Club. She loved her family, enjoyed gardening and was happiest when she was at her own home.

In addition to her husband Joseph, Nell is survived by her 3 children: Paul Mikulak of Deep River; Steve Mikulak and his wife Alfreda of Wolcott and Mary Klube and her husband Kevin of Mt. Airy, MD; daughter-in-law Debi Mikulak of Jupiter, FL; 9 grandchildren: Kristoffer Mikulak and Al; Sarah Messier and her husband Mike; Kathryn Mikulak and Nathaniel; Jennifer Klube and her fiancé© Ryan; Jessica Klube; Melissa Mikulak; Steven Mikulak; Amanda Madden and her husband Matthew and Alex Mikulak and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Joseph, an infant son John, her brother John Aszklar and 3 sisters: Jennie Czarnecki, Frances Shaw and Virginia Martin.
