Alvin J. LaFleur, 81 of Southington died Wed. Feb.17, 2010 at Mid-State Medical Center, Meriden.
Born July 25, 1928 in Southington to the late Florimond J. LaFleur and Anna Burgess LaFleur he had been a longtime Southington resident.
Mr. LaFleur worked for Clark Brothers Bolt and retired from Ideal Forging.
He is survived by two sons, William LaFleur and his wife Linda of Southington and Michael LaFleur and his wife Tracy of Bristol; one brother, Robert LaFleur of Meriden ; one sister Lorraine Hagopian of Woodbridge; six grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Feb. 20, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours are prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 at the funeral home.
