Alice J. Bilyak

Alice J. (Almeida) Bilyak, 86, of Meriden, passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving daughter Kathy and loving friend, Donna Santulli, on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Elim Park in Cheshire.

Alice was born on August 5, 1937 to the late Anthony Almeida and Mary (Albuquerque) Almeida.

Alice enjoyed her long career as registered nurse. She worked for many years at Middlesex Hospital and eventually retired from Masonicare in Wallingford. She loved playing tennis and looked forward to her annual trip to Vero Beach, FL. In her retirement, she also liked to play Bridge and Mahjong at the Cheshire and Wallingford Senior Centers, where she made many lasting friendships.

She is survived by her loving and supportive daughter, Kathryn Bilyak of Plantsville and many dear friends.

Alice’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses from the Franciscan Home & Hospice Care for going above and beyond with their compassion and care.
