Alecia A. Magri

 Alecia A. (Lubinski) Magri, 82, of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at HOCC at New Britain. She was the loving wife of William T. Magri for 65 years.

Alecia was born on December 3, 1940 in Rutland, Vermont, eldest of five daughters, to the late Anthony and Geneva (Bride) Lubinski.

Alecia was a longtime member of St. Thomas Church in Southington. She was a faithful wife who took wonderful care of her husband Bill. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, traveling, cooking, and baking. She especially enjoyed playing pinochle with best friends Marge and Bill Wisk. Alecia was a member of the Southington Women’s Club and the Calendar House.

In addition to her husband William, Alecia is survived by five children: William Magri and Frances Vispone of Southington, Linda LaFleur and husband William of Plantsville, Robert Magri and wife Jennifer of Seymour, Barbara Bottiglieri and husband John of Southington and Jennifer Ottalagana and husband Fred of Plantsville, 11 grandchildren: Matthew LaFleur (Jennifer), Samantha Burroughs (Sarah), Thomas Bottiglieri (Lauren), Robert Bottiglieri, Melissa Ventresca (Ken), Sean Magri, Katelyn Caponegro (Andrew), Ethan Magri (Christina), Andrew Bottiglieri, Nicholas Ottalagana and Joshua Magri and 6 great-grandchildren: Isabella, Carter, Layla, Parker, Calvin and Chloe,  as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lisa Magri and four sisters: Susan Koboski, Stacia DiValentino, Diane Gravelle and MaryLou Sargeant.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023, at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 8:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S.
