Albert J. Duval

Albert J. Duval, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Oct. 30, 2012.

Born Oct. 25, 1932, he was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Juliette (Laurendeau) Duval, and also by his wife of 25 years, the late Dorothy B. Duval.

Albert served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 - 1955 and worked as a tool maker for Superior Electric.

Albert is survived by his son, Bret Duval, and his wife, Carol Urofsky, of Lakewood Ranch, FL; his daughter, Linda Nitz, and her husband, John, of Plantsville, CT; 4 grandchildren: Phoebe Duval and James, Kyle and Colby Nitz. He is also survived by his sister Dolores Noonan and husband, Bill, and his 2 brothers, Roger R. Duval and his wife, Elaine, and Robert J. Duval and his wife, Gloria.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday Nov. 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in the State Veteran's Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown. Calling hours will be held before the service from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home.
