Adolph Peter Albrycht Sr., 95, of Southington and Meriden, died Monday Dec. 17, 2012 at Village Green Health Care, Bristol. He was the husband of the late Jennette (Noster) Albrycht.
Born in Southington, Sept. 22, 1917, to the late Vincent and Mary (Pernal) Albrycht, he had been a longtime Southington resident.
Mr. Albrycht served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from the Meriden Board of Education in 1982.
He is survived by three sons: William Albrycht of Meriden, James Albrycht of Bristol and Adolph P. Albrycht Jr. of Meriden; two daughters, Beverly Caron of Bristol and Donna Albrycht of Meriden; two brothers, Stanley Albrycht of Southington and John Albrycht of Meriden; two sisters, Mary Manton of Wolcott and Wanda Lorenzo of Southington, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Wed. Dec. 19, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Plantsville. Burial with full military honors will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington. There are no calling hours.
