A. Cecelia Folcik

Agnes Cecelia “Dolly” (Dubiel) Folcik, 86, of Kensington, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. She had been the loving wife of the late Andrew “Drick” Folcik.

Cecelia was born in Avon, CT on November 30, 1934, one of ten children, to the late Benedict and Agnes (Malecki) Dubiel.

Cecelia graduated from Mt. St. Joseph in West Hartford. She retired from Lindquist Insurance Associates where she worked as an insurance analyst for over 25 years. Cecelia was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Southington.

She is survived by three sons, Gregory Folcik of New Hampshire, Stanley Folcik (Mary Lou) of Kensington, Andrew Folcik (Cathy) of East Hampton, 10 grandchildren; Kristina, Melanie, Michael, Alexandra, Michaela, Madelyn, Emily, Nathaniel, Marc, Nicole, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 9 siblings.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cecelia’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.

Family and friends are welcome to meet directly at the Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St, Southington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Southington. Face coverings and social distancing are required at all times.
